Your body is an amazing machine.
The meat-suit you wear everyday is capable of some epic feats and its more resilient than it gets credit for.
Think about it, your skin is subjected to constant attack at each second of the day as environmental toxins, UV rays and everyday organic materials come at you — an unrelenting storm of microscopic meteors that your loyal, hard-working skin repels without question to protect you. What a noble organ the skin is
What do you do to thank your skin for taking bullets for you every day?
Consumers are interested in skincare right now – and for good reason: Busy “do-it-all” attitudes that mean we’re sleeping less, eating poorly, and/or choosing whatever’s most convenient, but not necessarily the best choice for our health or the health of the planet.
As the world gets more and more toxic, we see the effects on our skin — and we’re not happy about it.
Today’s standards of beauty and aging are evermore unrealistic, and in a world where 60-year-olds look 35 and thank a rigorous skincare routine, women of all ages are hopping on board. Want to know what you should watch out for specifically? Check out the Cosmetic Ingredient Hotlist issued by Health Canada. This list is especially important to review if you buy products Internationally, where regulations may not be as strict.

Do your part to ensure the products you use are made from environmentally conscious ingredients that are farmed, harvested, and manufactured sustainably.

Animal testing is bad for a few reasons — yes, it’s cruel to poke and prod at bunnies, mice, and monkeys for the sake of our vanity, but even if you’re not into “saving the animals” here’s one logical question we’ve for to ask: do you want to use ingredients that “might” cause such adverse reactions that we can’t ask humans to trial them first?
Neither do we.
