Consumers are interested in skincare right now – and for good reason.

Busy “do-it-all” expectations mean we’re sleeping less, eating poorly, and/or choosing whatever’s most convenient – not necessarily the best choice for our health or the health of the planet.

As the world gets more and more toxic, we see the effects on our skin — and we’re not happy about it.

Today’s standards of beauty and aging are evermore unrealistic, and in a world where 60-year-olds look 35 and thank a rigorous skincare routine, women of all ages are hopping on board. While no product can reverse or prevent aging entirely (sorry), there are a few important things to consider as you shop online or wander the beauty aisles.

We’re at a tipping point with Mother Nature right now and the threat of climate change causing real, life-altering events is a real possibility for many of us.

Vegan + Cruelty–Free

Animal testing is bad for a few reasons — yes, it’s cruel to poke and prod at bunnies, mice, and monkeys for the sake of our vanity, but even if you’re not into “saving the animals” here’s one logical question we’ve for to ask: do you want to use ingredients that “might” cause such adverse reactions that we can’t ask humans to trial them first?

Neither do we.
